Become a stem cell donor
One donation can yield up to 200 doses of cells that support the development of future healthcare solutions.
Why it matters
Stem cells are opening new possibilities in healthcare. They may change how we treat injury, inflammation, and age-related disease by helping the body repair and restore itself from within.
By donating bone marrow, you contribute to this progress and help bring regenerative medicine closer to everyday care.
A rigorous and
trusted process
Donation is safe, carefully regulated, and performed under Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA) oversight. We invite healthy individuals aged 18–30 to contribute bone marrow for the production of mesenchymal stem cells.
Before donating, you meet a doctor for a full health assessment and medical screening to ensure safety and cell quality.
Compensation is provided according to Swedish law, compensating you only for your time and related expenses.
One donation can yield up to 200 doses of cells that support the development of future healthcare solutions.
What to expect
The process begins with a blood test and a one-hour health screening with a doctor in central Stockholm. The donation itself takes about one hour and is performed under local anaesthetic in the back of the hip.
After a short fika break and a follow-up blood test, you can return to your day knowing you have contributed to something meaningful.
